BRIEF
A volunteer project based on an idea to equip secondary students with opportunities to be financially successful filmmakers by starting early, practicing often and training values first, then technical skills
WHAT WE DID
Created a course for film & photography, iterating over 2 years to solve the social problems youth face, helping them move from where they are to where they want to be.
RESULT
- One student won a scholarship of $15,000 at age 17
- Another group of students won best editing, best acting and best film at the Hillview College Film Festival with cash prizes included.
- Many students are earning an income in the field to this day.
